Food
French cuisines are famous for their class, wines, and exclusivity. While students would most likely unable to purchase the high-end, Michelin star course, there are other cheap options in the many restaurants and bistros in France. In Paris, most of these restaurants would offer 12 Euros or more for a dish, although cheaper price could be found in less tourist-y cities and even in Paris itself. One should notice that most meals in restaurants here are lengthy affairs with starting course, main meal, and a desert and is more recommended if one does not have any obligations and would enjoy a time for themselves or with their friends. Another cheap alternative are subway food courts which offer cheap and large meal or to cook one yourself with the fresh produces from markets nearby your place of stay. If one is to stay in Paris, the Bastille Market is noted to be a must-see experience.
